UPDATE: The contest is now over, we selected two winners that have been contacted already! We appreciate all the entries and appreciate all the time you put into these banners. If you would still like to design a banner you are still more than welcome to submit one anytime this year, if we use it you will definitely be rewarded with something Blu related.

Many changes have been happening here at Blu-news.com for the past couple of months, some quite drastic, including the look of the site. We did have some major downtime, but are back and I’d like to think better than ever. A major issue for the site at the moment is the need for a new banner to go across the top of the site, we absolutely love the current one but unfortunately the creator has disappeared and have no way of resizing it without it looking deformed.
If anyone has any skills with Photoshop and would like to give a try at creating a totally new or even similar banner for the site, it would definitely be appreciated. The dimensions must be 851×112, and feature a dominant blue palette. The winner of the contest will win a free Blu-ray movie, which will feature at least a 39.99 SRP. We may also have some prizes for runners up, assuming we get many entries for this contest. Please e-mail all submissions to contests@blu-news.com.
